Well CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spring Training in Arizona was a blast, like it always is. My Giants won 3 of the 4 games me and my brother attended.
Vegas was fun too (even though the "Best Cover Band in America" AKA Yellow Brick Road, changed lead singers and the new guy makes YBR now just another "good cover band") because the weather was great and I didn't lose too much money (...although they did let me "visit" the money I lost there last year LOL).
All in all everything went great this trip, except for the drive home. Me and my brother left this morning bright and early to get home after being gone for 8 days, and things were going smashing, until just past Barstow, CA.
Yeah, smashing being the key word there.
We always take my mom's car (she hasn't driven in 10 years) because it get's good MPG and it keeps the miles off of my truck and my brothers car.
So just past Barstow, along a portion of the two-lane (one lane each way) stretch of Highway 58, I'm passing a big rig 18-wheeler at a pretty good clip, trying to get around him before on-coming traffic gets too close when he suffers a tire separation on his drivers side front tire. That caused his rig to pull pretty hard to the left, right into me and my brother.
Yeah, like I said, "smashing."
Anyway, we end up in a ditch, the whole rig flips onto the right side and slides down the highway, blocking BOTH lanes. Eastbound traffic can't stop in time and the cars start piling up, wham, wham, wham.
The first few cars of the Westbound traffic (the direction we were travelling) are able to stop in time, but the 5th car back (according to what CHP told me) rams into the 4th car that was able to stop in time, and that collision creates another whole chain reaction.
It was mayhem.
I swear it was like a pinball game, bumper car, demolition derby all rolled into one.
It was terrible, there was carnage everywhere, people were screaming, flames were everywhere, there was mass panic, people in the streets, dogs and cats living together.....
Anyway, happy April first guys. I'm home from vacation.
Let the festivities resume.

Haha awesome story. Was somewhat believable until you overdue it!
I read another April fools article a few years ago stating that Chevy and Ford were teaming up to make a midsized 4.5L diesel for the 1/4 ton truck platforms and SUVs, it was dubbed the POWERMAX. There was a slew of people going mental for more details and excitement.
Then the bomb was dropped. Some were mad some some furious and all disappointed!
