Baseball, the tax man and BS cometh in April 2012 in Indiana's BS thread...!!!
Well...I'm late to opening the April thread...but I have a GOOD excuse...really I do!
I've been out fishing all day...and we did more than fish...we CAUGHT!!! ...
Here's some pictures to prove it!
We did an 8 hour charter...grouper season opened today...and that's what we went out for...unfortunately we didn't limit out...but it wasn't the captains fault...he put us on the fish and it took a little bit of getting used to the "circle" hooks we have to use...you simply have to "lift" the rod and reel...I made the mistake of trying to "set the hook" before I learned differently...and I missed two HUGE fish...fought them up about 15' of the 40' we were fishing in...
We went out about 25 to 28 miles...had a GREAT TIME...as you can see we caught lots of fish!
Sorry I'm late to the party today...but April BS is open for business!

It's Monday already...looks like another beach day...oh darn...LOL
We'll be having some of that fresh fish cooked up tonight...I'm going to run to the grocery in a bit to get some aluminum foil and other fixins...I'll make individual "pouches" of fish and spices and bell peppers with a little pat of butter and cook them all closed up on the grill down at our friends condo...then I'll take some potatoes and onions and put some butter in that pouch and make up a nice bunch of potatoes cooked on the grill too...man I'm making myself hungry already just thinking about them!
I think Wednesday Bryon and I will take the girls on an air boat ride/tour of the everglades...at least that's the plan!
