Snow? not a snowflake to be seen around here, but then with Saturday being 90, and Sunday being 95 I guess it melted, if there were any to begin with.

good morning everyone. I hope you all have a great day. I'm heading out for a ride since , yes I'm off today woohoo.

 

Well, it HELPS, but believe me, it doesn't get rid of it. But supposedly it helps prevent it. Good thing I like cherries. However, I've never really bought a bunch of the black cherry juice and drank it. I did right after I had my first (and pray, only) attack. I couldn't get enough of it. LOL However, I haven't really had any since. However, my purine level is always high. Every test I get taken it shows a high purine level. I just try and drink a bunch of water and the best thing to do is exercise (especially cardio involving your legs/feet) because that will help break up the existing crystals and move them out of your blood stream through your urine (ya, sorry, but it's true). That and not eating the trigger objects should make you good to go.

So, whenever I start to gain weight again, my foot starts to bother me, then I know I'm endangering myself to have another attack and it's not good. I realize I need to get my crap together and start losing weight again.

 

As a side note, there was no snow here either since it was 99 on Sunday, but it was definitely cooler up in the Spring Mountains up at Mount Charleston for our ride.

There was snow all up on Mt. Charleston as we rode through. I was concentrating on the road and didn't even really notice the snow on the side of the road until I saw the video. LOL Unfortunately the pace isn't very fast because we had a LOT of traffic in front of us (he cut most of that out of the vid).

Anyway, I just thought I'd share. I'm hoping to get a GoPro Hero (maybe even the latest Hero2) when I get back to work again, so that I can tape some of my rides. Then maybe the vids might be a little more interesting.

 

NO SNOW today, it looks like another really nice day.

Not going to be able to make it

Mat, I need to save up for a new camera. The one I have is an HP Photosmart M547. It's a nice camera but it is slow taking photos. About 2-5 seconds to take a photo. I don't need a fancy, super high quality, pro camera. But I want something that takes fast, good quality photos. Any suggestions?

I have to go back to the drawing board for the video I am working on. This time I am starting with some professional help.

BTW Mat, nice vid. Motorcycles are not my thing but it makes me want to hit the road and go on a road trip.
