Hiya guys, man today was B E A utiful... Though this morning sucked, i didn't fall asleep till 6 am then was awoken at a little after 7 by my little brother somehow falling down the stairs... Hes ok just a bit sore, but it has been a rough morning. Though i got a lot done with my truck. I started a bit of work on my Saginaw swap project i have been working on and at first didn't get much headway due to the local oriellys guy telling me "ohthe E-van pressure lines won't work on your broncoblahblahblah" So i was like "ok well i will look around a bit more for something else" then i went to Napa. I didn't bother with the high pressure side but moved onto the low pressure and they didn't have the 3/8 hose i needed in stock > But the nice Napa employee directed me to some American Pipe company out in the norther parts of Kent near 212th exit from 167. Anyways those Mother effers charged me $6 for about 2 feet of 3/8 rubber hose!! it was BS... Oh well i got that out of the way, needless to say i won't be going back there. SOOOOO i swung by oriellys again and bought the high pressure line for a 78 e-van PS system and went home... Turns out that was the wrong one. The fitting that goes into the pump has a rubber o-ring and the flare is a lot different where as the one i bought had a regular double flare end... Guess who gets to go back to oriellys again. Anyways so i get home and pop the high pressure line from my stock pump off and move it then plug the old Sag pressure line in and it fits! The only issure was the end of it was so long it was hitting my fuel pump, i have a picture here.
The left is the new one, right is the modified old one.
Luckily my neighbor who seems to be able to do everything is a plumber and had tools to flare tubes. He cut and reflared the tube so that it should work no need for a $40 custom made line . Next i talked to him about welding some metal into the Sags bracket and after looking at my truck he came up with a better idea. I can't really explain it so tomorrow if it doesn't rain i plan to pull it apart for pictures while getting my stock pump out. It is really a simple mod. Anyways Thats my story hope you enjoyed it TGM out.

I have faith, it isn't raining yet BUT i have a new problem, my back Since i haven't been working and doing a lot of lifting or moving, i think my back has relaxed too much. When i was working on my truck yesterday i either pulled a muscle or at least worked them hard cause it hurt to lay in bed this morning.. Ibprofin is helping but i don't know if it is enough to jump back in
