If you do not have cruise, you do not have a horn relay, it's wired directly to the steering wheel pad switch.

If you do have Cruise Control, it should be mounted up above the steering column behind the instrument panel....by, or even on, the speed control amplifier.

that simplifies things then. Like Dave stated above. It simply goes from the fuse (F4), to the switch on the steering wheel, to the horns.

Check you fuse first.

You can test the horn by just taking 12V to it....There should be 2 horns so I doubt both are bad...but maybe.

Most likely your switch in the steering wheel is the culprit....or somewhere in the wiring leading to it.

i checked all the fuses they are all good but there is no power going to the wire on the horn button or the horn its self. i ran a wire to the positive post on my battery and it works fine. so is something not hooked up. i changed the turn signal switch a while back maybe i did it wrong

He said he has cruise, so he supposed to have a horn relay, like you said, up behind the dash on the left side of the steering column. Does the cruise control work? There is a chance someone swapped in another steering column with a wheel that had the buttons, but didn't originally have cruise. If that's the case, you might have a problem, I haven't ever looked on how you would handle something like that.

Oh yes he did....I'm sorry for that then...I completely mis-read that!!

Yes...power would then go from the fuse to the relay...if you have it.

Dual note horns were an option. Most just have the one low note horn.

Dual note horns could be had with or without cruise control, and the same restrictions apply with the Horn Relay.

I changed the steering wheel that had the buttons. And I took out the cruise control thing that was on the driver side fender under the hood because I wasn't using it anyways

If you changed the steering wheel pad to a non cruise one, they are wired differently. I found that out the hard way when I put a cruise pad in my non cruise truck.
