OT? Panel Camper

I wonder how this (With Mods) would work in a Panel Truck
I would like to wonder the Americas in my Panel Truck and visit everyone from all the web sites I visit and mooch off them and hang out like a Brother-in-Law or the smelly Uncle

Sorry for forgetting the link 1st time around - Don't know what life would be like if I had a memory

Dick did you have a image to post? You're welcome to stop by but if you stay around longer than a day or two you might be put to work milking cows or scraping manure.

Dick,

I can just imagine what it would look like when you pulled out of the local KOA in the morning....
...with your memory you'd forget to reel in your extension and you'd be drdaggin' a** everywhere you went....LOL

Come on out west. If we get tired of you we have plenty of spots in the desert to hide your body

Bobby

Dick, drive out our way! It's close to spring mushroom-hunting season in these mountains, there are even some magic ones I hear tell. There are also grow operations in abundance right here in my neighborhood - one recently burnt to the ground just across the street from me.

You'd also be close to S.F., and all the AirForce guys.LOL!

I think that would work awesome in your panel truck, Dick. Paint it purple for a personal touch.

Stu,

There's a BIG difference, Dick has earned his right to bum the country. He's contributed to society and to our country, he isn't asking for a hand out and then might help pay back some of what is given to him.

As for personally, I've met Dick in person, he is actually just like his board persona. Just a warning to other board members. He's safe as long as you don't pull his tail

Whoa, I'm not "dis"ing Dick. Just seeing the similarities in the travel plan, and purple van. If it was a bad joke, my apologies. Stu

I know Stu, just didn't want some one who wasn't around during the Angel days thinking Dick is some kind of freaky commy hippy, he's completely different. How is he different? I'll have to get back to you on that.

OH WOW! That's a GREAT idea. I've already marked out all the cut lines on my panel, Tomorrow I'll weld the back doors closed and start cutting the roof. I just hope I'll still be able to use the can opener to open the bean cans afterwards. If not I'll just open them the old fashioned way with a chisel and hammer, it's just a bit messier. I've dug out my old Hopalong Cassidy tent and I think I can make it work for the popup sides with a little duct tape to hold it in place. I'm glad I saved the bent card table my uncle fell over at Xmas, I can use the folding legs to hold up the top. I can use Unk's extra bedpan for the sink (and have it do double duty at night so I don't have to go outside in the dark.)
If I start getting up early each morning (I'll set the alarm for 9:45!) to work on it, I should be ready to head out by Thursday. Dick, let's meet up somewhere and travel together, it's a lot more fun seeing the sights with a good friend, and I'll have someone to tow me to the nearest Walmart parking lot when I break down. I even have a tow rope I can bring with me if I cut down the tire swing. Do you have enough tools for both of us to use?
