Sure is a blast! Our calm-wind runway is just over a mile long. You sure can have a LOT of fun in a mile of perfectly flat, dragstrip-like new concrete/asphalt!

 

We've got lots of long straight stretches of road around here, but the local sheriff doesn't like speeders... Um... Or so I've heard... Yeah, that's it....

 

That's the best part! No cops around to stop me from doing whatever I want! Winters are a blast too, I have a couple of hookups at the airport My dad and my uncle both work in maintenance, so they take care of the runways when we get snow. As you know, snow drifts. When the drifts get a few feet high, I get to go play in them on the runways before they start plowing, just as long as I am there before them, and gone before they get there. Having keys to a big-boy playground like that is awesome!

Well Micah, if you feel like making the trip out here to Nebraska, I know someone who could give you that opportunity. And would do so for a case of beer and a drinking buddy.

Sure is nice to come home after class and sit down for a little bit.. I forgot what this feels like..

 

lol..all i do is sit all day..

 

I'm on my feet most of the day, then I go to work and am on my feet some more.. Doesn't feel right having this much "spare" time..

 

lol..enjoy it while you can lol...right now after i get off work i spend a couple hours with my pregnant wife and when she falls aslepp i clean up the house for her.. then i get a few min to myself before bed

 

You could go to work... Just sayin'.

she is doing good..she is just pretty tired most of the time lol..but we are really thrilled
