7.3 oil leak

i have a 2000 f250 7.3 with a 6 spd trans. last week the clutch exploded and i had to have everything replaced clutch wise.it even broke the clutch fork. while they were in there i told thm to go ahead and replace the rear main seal because i thought it was damp. now the truck is leaking oil out of the bellhousing but it only leaks after you cut the truck off. any body got any ideas? is the new rear main seal bad? when my gas burner truck rear main seal was leaking it leaked all the time. please help me as i need this truck.the truck only has 125,000 miles on it . in the last 2 months the ball joints went bad, the water pump started leaking, the clutch exploded and now this oil leak

Usually the RMS is not the problem. It is usually the HPOP O-rings, Turbo o-rings, or the EBPV actuator. Have you checked the valley for oil? There is a drain hole in the back that allows the fluids to drain and make it look like a RMS leak.

If your valley is dry, then your shop needs to look at the RMS job again.

That fluid heats up too! Running it through a cooler doesn't hurt it at all.
