I like the cactus one too personally but my truck is getting the 'Heavy Duty' Look with a big custom winch bumper, so I plan on making my own mayne but if one were to reproduce them Cactus pusher.
Its not up to me but I don't really see the need to reproduce something that is still made. (Trying to be as pursausive as possible for the cactus pusher. lol).

Gave another extra one to a fellow FTE member for helping me with my truck, and have a spare in the shed. The Bronco is a nice idea IMO and the blue muddy one is another fellow FTE buddy, we were at the swap meet and spotted it at the same time.

Bignasty you have a standard (in my area anyway) cattle/brush guard, do not see many around NOT in a sad, used, beat up condition.

I believe they are hard to find and a repo would be a great idea to me, of course I have 3, so I am sure my vote does not count.
Good night, You Sir have one massive collection.

I will take a 73-77 catus pusher for sure. I've been looking for a long time and I cannot find one.
Yessiree, guess which series bumper gets reproduced first!!

I guess I'd better set up my tubing bender.

JBG still advertises the "cactus pusher", but does not carry it. And is was for a EB (early bronco) anyway.

FYI That truck in the mud is blue and belongs to a fellow FTE friend, its not my silver one.

What I mean was since the brush guard (General Lee style) is still being made, it would make more sense to reproduce the one (cactus pusher) that is no longer being made. So no, I don't know of anyone who reproduces the factory style bar.

That is what this thread is all about, I was working a possible repo idea a while back with a fellow FTE'er, sent pics, measurements then the idea died.

I hollered at him a little bit ago and it seems he found a OEM one for his truck, and I pinged him about the repo idea again and told him to start a poll thread to see if its a worth while idea.

Alan, dang the new paint on the ol dent looks awesome, cant wait to see it for real.

You guys just about have me pushed over the edge. I may make a cactus pusher for Earthquake and see how tough it would be to make a few. I have the bender and shoes. It's just a matter of bending one up. Maybe I'll spit one out before the weekend and see.

Since ya got one to work off of, the main hoop bends are on a 7-inch radius and the angled uprights are set at 82 degrees.

No PBY, repo as in "reproduction" I had 5 at one time and now 3 so I do NOT need to repossess anything. lol

Alan remember there is a different shape bottom mounting plate versus years.

73-77 is square and 78/79 is rounded on the inside, do not know if it really matters?

It doesn't matter on the bottom mount, but the top mount DOES matter. Because the earlier bumper is more rounded at the top, the upper mounts are shorter and won't reach the bolt holes on the '78-9 bumper.
