2012 F350 questions

Im debating on trading my 2007 in for a 2012.... have some questions

is there an aftermarket headlight that switches the headlight and turn signal so that headlight is on top? i hate that look with the headlight on the bottom!

Will the aftermarket rims and tires 305 65 R 18 BFGoodrich fit from a 2007?

Will I need a leveling kit and adjustable trac bar like my 2007?

Honest opinion whats a better truck the 2006 6 liter or the 2012 6.7 liter?

Can the exhaust be removed and install a 4" turbo back, no cat? Do I need it for inspections/emmisions?

What kind of fuel mileage are you guys seeing with a 2011/12 6.7 liters 4x4? My 6 liter is HORRIBLE 12/13 mpg

I don't know about switching the head lights but I can tell ya they work awesome.
I have been a duramax guy since 05 (had a couple) never owned a Ford till 11' 6.7 and all I can say is WoW now I am on my Second one already love it. on the 11' I had H&S tune with DPM,DEF,Muffler delete I was All smiles..... never have the truck in for anything other than reg maintenance traded it in with 50k on it just picked up a 12' loaded also beautiful trucks I will wait till I hit 2k miles before I think about doing anything to the new one...I have 1400mi in a week LOL

Running around town right now(I live 7 miles from work) its getting 14.5mpg on the hi way it will pull 19mpg if you keep it right at or just below 70mph.
After exhaust mods on the 11 I was getting almost 22mpg(21.8) along side the highway at the same speed... I have 3:55 gears and 20 in tires on both trucks.... pulling a 38 ft enclosed race trailer stock was 10.3 after mods 10.8 not much mpg gain when pulling but lots more power again Smiles. (of coarse I only drove my truck off road with the exhaust and tune in place)

If you do get a tune you already have 4" coming out of the turbo stock so just get the delete pipe you will only hear a very slight bit more exhaust noise and allot more turbo noise and a bit of black stuff exiting the exhaust pipe.... When I took the tune off the truck before trade in it felt like I went from driving a corvette to a volkswagon no joke I was laughing at how slow the truck was..... till I started driving my new truck home was not so funny then... ;(

Yeah you will need to bolt everything back on for inspections/emissions takes about a half hour/40 min with a hoist.and about 10-15 min to download the stock settings again.

my F350 CC 4x4 short bed sits pretty level I would not put a leveling kit on mine.... Just say'n..

I never drove a 6 liter but I cant see how the 6.7 cant be better all around.
Say what you want but I did own duramx and know what they can do to a 6 liter ford.... in power and MPG

Great input. Thanks for the tips. Not sure if I want the yearly hassle of installing the exhaust every year. Does it get an actual emmisions test or just a visual inspection? Im in new york. Id love to use my aftermarket wheels...

You will get a visual inspection basically just covering the lights. Your probloms with a modified exhaust will most likely be the dot. Its a $700 NYS fine the first time your caught and doubles the second time. Federal fines are alot steeper but look at the EPA website and they say they are not actively pursuing violators. If you use the truck for a business you will most likely have to pull in to the DOT truck inspections and what they will enforce is anyone's guess. I hope this helps in your decision. IMO do what you are comfortable with!
