Sure looks good sitting there.

With gas going up. I am really really bummed out and sad. I never thought that something like that could effect me. My truck just sits there I am really thinking of selling it.

I know that nobody has a crystal ball but does anyone ever see gas going back to at least $3.50.

I really do not want to sell it. But with high gas, its just not enjoyable always thinking about GAS.

This time next year, you'll be back in the saddle.

Where's my crystal ball happy face? This guy looks too sad.

I hope so, I have the same sad feeling when driving my Bronco. I love driving it, but every time I do, I see $$$ in my head thinking of what it is costing me. However, I have no plans to sell it, as it is my only means of transportation.

It might help to put it in perspective. Your EX has a 44 gallon tank, right? So lets say you need 40 at a fillup. So $3.50/gal x 40 = $140. I can buy gas at Arco for $4.13 today. So $4.13/gal x 40 = $165. Only $25 extra per fillup!

Feel better? I thought so. Don't sell her. That would be a grave error.

Fully agree Bill. Do the math on a new rice burner - Cost of new payments, insurance, license, 35mpg - maybe, and forget about that good feeling you get behind the wheel.

You only go around once in this life, best to do it in a Ford Truck.

I am with you on that... My truck doesn't get great mileage. but it does it's job when it is time to go to work, and using it for my business gets me quite a bit of tax Write off potential... It is a matter of using prudence and common sense, and keeping the old gal in good shape! Well that and Taking care of business come election time!
