Where are you holed up? and where do you live?

When I removed my old stabilizer, I used a pickle fork and mini sledge and it took a bit, but I got it off. My recommendation is to wait until you experience the death wobble b4 you replace the stabilizer. Mine didn't start until 15,000 miles. Maybe when and if yours starts there will be another TBS that does more then just replaces the stabilizer.....You want to have a complaint record on file if and when it starts. This is the only way Ford will see all the units having problems....

Installed the Bilistien dampener over the weekend. What a difference. Not that my wheels were doing the death wobble lately, but it's that little shake they would do that you knew would eventually turn into a death wobble. Well, now, nothing. Solid, no shake, wobble or shimmy. I definitely recommend this as a solution we can do short of ford changing the entire steering dynamics.

I completed the install of the steering Damper yesterday ....it took less than 1/2 hour. I installed the Bilstein 5100 damper and for removing the old damper....I used a pitman arm puller.....this worked very well.....I purchased this part about 5 years ago....It was a loaner tool from Autozone...I last used it on a Chevy Z71.....the cost for the part back then was about $ 25.00 .
