I am thinking you may have to combine the two firewalls. I really can not say, since i am not there. It looks like you could cut the 11 firewall bulge where the pedals are and merge it in with the 66 firewall.
Part of this too is the fact the '11 column has to be used in order for truck to start.

I have been busy trying to figure out how to proceed!
'66 Cab is now gutted with floor and firewall gone. The new frame I ordered came in yesterday along with new rear axle parts. More parts still on order.
it keeps getting more and more complicated but pushing on.
The new frame looks horrible as all faded out so will have to re-do that now.
Still working on solving the issue's at hand.

Boss, that is getting very expensive I can imagine, hang in there, the dash is from what I can see your obstacle, gaining those important inches!
Yes, Another issue is the width of new frame. Time to chop the back of cab!
Cab opening is 41" Frame is 45"+

Chopped up the back of cab so it fits EcoBoost frame!
Looks like it will work out well, it will take a pretty sharp eye to for someone to know it was even done.
It was nice to see NO rust in this area. Nice and SOLID!

Someone sent me a PM asking about what spot weld cutters I use so thought I would share that.
IMO I think Blair has the best ones on market.
I have gotten 225+ spot welds with a single cutter.
The 13224 is one I have used most and very reasonable priced.
I also recently bought a Rotabroach style cutter and they work even better its just that care has to be taken not to let it catch as they will like anything else break.

Hang in there randy! When I get back from Finland, I would absolutely LOVE to work on this with you! I'll make sure to stop in, right when I get back to Phoenix

Hi Ben! Your dad stopped by for a few minutes yesterday morning so I could do some welding on the jeep. He ended up staying for the entire day helping me out on this project! Some of this heavy stuff is just too much for a old fart like me. It was great to have the help . . .
So how did you know I made a build here on FTE? We have had 100+ for a couple days here already. Had to move things in the cramped garage so we had the A/C blowing on us. Everything was too hot to even touch outside.
This has a been a neat project so far.
If you get bored there in Finland here are a few more Video's to check out. Hoping to get going on the Orange truck in between things, to at least get it running.
Are you still planning on Diesel school with Ford when you come back to AZ?

Im pulling for you Randy. I think if anyone can do this build its you. I have seen some of your past work and I know from that it makes you capable of building the EcoSlick.
Now is when we get even with you weather wise. It was a very outdoor workable mid 70 degree day.

I'm planning on it. And I posted about it on an f150 forum I'm on, and a guy did a quick google search and sent me the link! So I decided to join the forum and watch the build
I'm still debating if I want to go through that school, or come back here to Finland and do industrial diesel mechanic here.. It's free here
But I can't wait to see what you have at your house when I get back! Great to see you're still doing challenging projects! I'll make sure to watch your videos! I'd love to do my own build with your help someday! Maybe when I get back!
And a quick thought, instead of incorporating the '11 dash in the '66, couldn't you pull the column out, and then put the 11 column in with some modifications? And then you could custom modify a NAV unit, and a/c.. Just pop the 66 dash out a little bit for more room..

I did no such quick search... I troll FTE for build threads all the time... Welcome to the forum Ben
