Because the original gas tank is so perfect I will leave it in place so interior looks like stock "Ranger"

But, I will need to fab another tank preferably in back to accept the EcoBoost fuel sender/pump unit.

Just did a quickie photo vid on youtube.

That will be announced in due time.

I need to meet with a vendor next weekend at Scottsdale.

ive been wanting to go over all your bed floor replacement tips (removal of old bed floor and supports etc...) and the pictures are gone. any way i could see those pics anywhere?

i have a dented 6 ft bed, and a good 8ft bed, im gonna meld the two and lift the floor up 4-5 inches for axle clearance, it would be a big help to look at yours!

Yea, if I recall there was exactly 427 spot welds that he drilled out. A magical number.

Keep twin I beam suspension no mods needed

Keep stock steering no mods needed

Pick up a eco engine and transmission, You will be able to buy a harness for your truck very soon. Taylored to fit your Truck!

Remove front clip. Drop in Eco and transmission 4x4 or 4x2.

Plug in harness, add just a different gauge cluster,

Keep your headlight switch, ignition etc. Sock dash with exception of a Standard cap type center cluster. Plug n play.

Should work on all 65-72 trucks.

Double the power, double the MPG.

I am not selling this combo but heads up it will be avail soon.
Cannot win for losing. I thought I made it clear here I was not selling anything. I got one of the no selling unless you are a vendor Pm's

A lot of great people here but after being attacked online by other members and now this nonsense I am done here. If anyone wants info send me a email or watch my other threads and or facebook.

Yep, short box had exactly 427 spot welds holding it all in. Counted many times.

After all my Photo Bucket issues things really went south here. Its fixed and working and seldom have photo issues anymore.

Just not a good fit here I guess. Time to hang up the FTE hat.

I have 3 great '66 projects in the works right now but will not be posted here. Just not the time or patience to deal with many forum's at a time. Its taking away valuable work time.

It will all eventually get put up on my facebook and of course my main thread where everything goes.

I've been following your excellent work (on various projects) for several years, Randy, and I've never had the impression you're selling anything. On the contrary, there have been several cases of you giving things away, and I mean Ford truck pieces, not just knowledge and experience.
I'm interested in the ecoboost swap, maybe for a Galaxie as well as my F100.
Do you -or anybody - know what the wreckers want for the engine/trans and miscellaneous supporting items?

Best is to buy a complete wrecked/damaged truck.

A few months back found a 2015 F150 with 20k miles for 2300.00 at auction.
its a 2.7L 4x4.

Much cheaper in the long run. Sell off parts not needed to recoup some $$

A bunch less $$ than doing about any other engine swap or reman or crate engine. Especially if one is to upgrade brakes, steering or suspension, overdrive trans etc.

1/4 mile run, hot night crappy tires. Launching from idle as no traction for boosted launch.

car in other lane was a hopped up VW.
