Its now on the road . . Stop by and I will let you take it for a drive!

Its been a long hard journey but today was the day of 1st test drive!

All went flawlessly

Really hard to describe the feeling to finally have it on the road after so many said it would be impossible!

The brakes, steering, power was absolutely outstanding.

Not really sunken in yet but I now have a 50yr old truck that has operating

Trailer sway control, stability control, anti roll control, full ABS plus other electronic features in a daily driver.

A couple teaser video trailer's from today.

Congratulations!

You know, it should go without saying that we need to see more.

After meeting you and working with you up here I had no doubt you would get it done Randy. No doubt. Nice work. Good to see your back on your feet too.

This is just amazing, well done despite all your setbacks.
Never give up and never say never. You sir are just one hell of a craftsman.
I really enjoyed following this build from the beginning until now. Beautiful job.

Have to say again, great job.

Way to think outside the box... or is it bigger on the inside than it is on the outside?

Instead of timewarp maybe it should just be called, "The Tardis"

Wonderful work. I have seen similar done Mustangs, this is great.

I am not worthy of sweeping your shop floor.

Thanks Robert! Yes, a lot of setbacks but kept on plugging away a bit at a time. Still a lot to figure out and do but it appears I can get it all to work.

Wiring is still a bit on touchy side as will not take much to mess things up if I start deleting things not needed.

Thanks! Pretty soon I will have to be thinking about "The Box" lol That will be the next largest task.

Hint: It will not be a 8' Box when I am done . .

You would be surprised how much of this you would be able to do once started. Always looking for sweeper's . . I currently have a person from another country who is helping very well just to learn both how to do stuff and the english language barrier. He shows up at least one day per week all day.

This is actually my first resto that is a non stock type. Never before have I even attempted this depth of a re-do.

Bought a 300.00 truck and just dug in, trial end error method with a bit of luck mixed in . .

Entire build still here:

1966 F100 EcoBoost Engine Swap (EcoBoosted) - The Garage Journal Board

A bit too much to give a bunch of detail on multiple forums.

Gotta stick where there is the most interest. Seems to be only a handful of people here interested.

Getting pretty close to some longer test drives. Another week or so and that should happen. Running and driving for a month now but only had it out the one time.

Got a bit side tracked on daughters bronco. Started tearing it apart back in march.

Getting close to finishing it up. THought some would like to see it.

cell phone pics are hard in shop as lighting is off. If I turn the lights on its far too bright and pics are washed out.

re-did complete interior too.

Before and after of door panels

Once detailed the 46k original miles really shows.
