When i was little, i poked a BB gun into the garage door and shot clean thru 4 cans of different colored spray paint, you cannot believe how far paint can travel in a garage full of cars, lawn mowers tools, fishing and hunting even camping equipment, oh yeah and x-mas decorations.

That was one of the better whoopin's I've never forgot.

Id really like to see you try the Lysol. Its amazing how good it works on acrylic. Id bet at the very least it wouldnt do any damage. Not so sure about some of the other "remedies"

Orange products work well, but you know, I was sittin here thinking I wish my son was still young enough to leave me a mark. He grads HS this year, then to college. Give him a hug and tell him you still love him.
Good Luck & God Bless.
PS, God gives us children as babies so we get attached to them before they start screwing everything up.

as noted above dont use anything like brake cleaner or carb cleaner. I tried on bus seats, didn't work and caused the material (vynal) to get all messed up. Soapy water and the majic eraser worked the best.

OFF!

We use OFF! mosquito spray at work to clean graffiti off the walls of the port-a-cans. This product should really be re-branded as Sharpie Removal Spray. It works wonders!!

Permanent marker can generally be removed with rubbing alcohol. Probably also the safest for the plastic. The Mr. Clean eraser may very well too.
