06 F-350 oil leak

I'm sure this is addressed on here somewhere, but i suck at computers!
I have a 06 350 dually with the 6.0 started noticing an oil leak dripping off block and it got worst really quick! The oil was dripping from at least 6 places below! i am new to deisels, so im a bit hesitant! I saw alot of oil up top in the valley so i thought i would remove the turbo to get a better look and maybe something would b odvious! Well, NO is wasnt. removed intake and oil cooler (kind of a mess)< i did drain coolant and oil first. never found a leak per say but i have entire top off motor and dont want to reassemble with out talking to experts. what to do from here- delete the cooler under intake? (forgot the name, im sure its 3 friggin letters or something) rebuild turbo? i noticed alot of dirt (black oil soaked) in intake, similar to oil leak under truck with dirt. Not sure what is causing that! just need some advice before i start reassembling and watching the oil drip thanks in advance great site

You should probably ask the question in the 6.0L Power Stroke engine forum, little rog, but my guess would be HPOP. But, I am not a diesel guy, so get a second opinion.

You can repost in the 6.0L forum or wait until a mod moves it for you.

Here's some reading in a thread that just came up recently. He added pictures, and I think he's currently leaning towards the IPR valve but it's on-going

Blown o-ring on the oil filter housing or oil cooler housing/cover? Maybe o-ring on the supply line to the turbo?

did u mean egr cooler? it could be o-rings. it could also be blown egr cooler or oil cooler. if either egr cooler or oil cooler, ford recommends to change both cos they're both linked together, and if one is busted, the chances are the other one is about to bust if it hadnt already.

it could also be leaky HPOP.

while ur in there changing out parts, and if u can afford a little more, try changing the standpipes and dummy plugs and updating the stc fitting on the HPOP. ford released new and updated designs for the stc fitting, the dummy plugs and the standpipes.

also, if u have a friend with a scangauge 2, have him plug it into ur truck and pull the codes. post them up and the guys on here will help u along towards resolving ur current probs.

best of luck pal. we're all here for u.

Might as well do the oil cooler and egr cooler since you're right there.

and the STC fitting
