Strange humming
Ok so just picked up my expedition today from the PO running good I came out of work today and heard a humming wasn't sure what it was thought maybe the fridges from the store in front of me started up drove home with no problems.
Get home and shut of the vehicle pull the key out of the ignition and the humming is there I pop the hood and what I am assuming is the fuel pump is still going like crazy.
Just to make sure what I am talking about it is a black box underneath the air intake on the drivers side just below the coolant overflow tank. Has steel lines running in and out of it.
So if it is the fuel pump WTF makes it do this is it normal ( I don't think so never heard a car do it before) or what could be the cause?

Found the problem so we are all good now and for anyone who might have this problem in the future.
The box below the intake is the ABS motor runs your brakes for the system. Just the ABS the temporary fix will not affect your braking in any other manner.
Remove power i.e disconnect battery.
Remove the fuse 102
Return power connections
If the noise returns it means that the ABS ECU has failed causing the circuit to run in the open position I am sure this is supposed to be a safety thing. However it causes the ABS motor to run non-stop even with the key power off and the key out of the ignition.
Replace the ABS ECU and replace fuse 102 problem solved.
Thanks for your help yall I know there were no replies but I searched around to get any ideas
