Blower Motor died this weekend

My Blower motor died suddenly this weekend leaving me with no way to move air to the windshield to defrost. Not very handy due to the cold and wet weather we are experiencing. I'll be driving a loaner Nissan Altima for a couple of days. I asked the service writer about engine or HPFP failures. They have replaced one 6.7 engine for a broken valve, but no pump issues as of today. My blower never showed any symptoms of a problem before it quit. 13k miles, this is the second time in the shop. The first problem was caused by a chafed wire going to one of the rear doors. It caused the power door lock circuit to blow fuses. I wish the dealer was a little closer to my home.

Sorry to hear about that, hopefully this will be the last time you have to take it in. Good luck!
It's also nice to hear the news on the hpfp.

my truck has a problem where the blower speed fluctuates, like if i have it on high, the blower goes fast/slow/fast/slow, or if i have it a few notches below high it does the same thing.. dealer says they can't get it to do it again.. BULL*****! it does it every time I use the A/C!

Dealer just called to say the new blower is installed. Mine just up and died. I hate to say it, but I hope your problem gets worse so they will fix it.

Know it's a pain to have it in but glad it is fixed. always try to look at these small things positively. At least it completely broke early, got faulty unit out and new one in.
