yeah I'd like to know, but I'm kind of leaning towards getting a buckstop bumper for myself and having them powdercoat it tan to match my tan lower quarter pannels.

Car is coming along great! Those drop-down steps are a neat feature. Are they fairly stable? Or is there a bit of shimmy/shake when you step on and off them?

Mine was supposed to ship 3 weeks ago but I kept getting the run around on what was going on. I had to email them today to finally get the word that it shipped on Friday! So it should be on soon!!!!

I love the steps. There is a little bit of give in them when you step on them but they are very stable. They can hold my husband easily and he is a big boy.

Finally got word that my bumper will be here on Monday. Then it will just be figuring out how to get it installed. Time will be short since I've got a toddler and my husband will be out of town next week. I hope to have it on by the end of the weekend. I'll be sure to post pics!

Thanks Bill. I wish I could have stayed around a little longer on Saturday but I was lucky to get the time out I did, so I wont complain.

On a bright note... the BUMPER CAME IN TODAY!!! I've already got the parts layed out and reading through the instructions. Trying to figure out when I can install it and how I'm gonna get it done. It's going to be awesome when it's on!

I'll post pics later.

I see a truck local of your vintage that has one of the aftermarket bumpers on (not sure if it's Buckstop or not) and it looks good. Can't wait to see how yours turns out.

actually a supercab with a 6.5 foot box is longer than a supercrew with a 5.5 foot box.
