Emergency. No star!
A buddy shut his truck off at our shop and when he went to crank it, nothing. Noticed it low on fuel and added some. Began cranking it again. Nothing. Finally fried the starter. When I got there I changed the starter for the guy and made sure the fuel bowl was full of fuel and pumping and still no start. Need a lil help.

Start here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...condition.html. This is the no start checklist in the 6.0 tech folder. Get the truck code scanned and report back before you spend any money on parts PLEASE. Also, is the ICP sensor on the passenger side valve cover or under the turbo (or production date from the door sticker)?

Well my ae wouldn't connect so the guy decided to send it to the shop. Needs his truck and didn't really have the time. This isn't the first time my ae wouldn't connect with another truck. It will always hook up to a 99-03 7.3. But I've tried a few obs trucks and now a 6.0 and can't connect. Anyone know what that is all about?
I'll let you know what he finds.
