I hope so Todd. I think this guy had this since it was new, so I know it hasn't been treated very well at all. This body is quite straight actually, not even a crack in the dually fenders, but I don't think the inside has ever been cleaned. Drivers window doesn't work either. I can hear the motor, but no movement. Anyone has an idea for that I'm all ears there too.
Cheap with a clean body can go a long ways, body work/paint job is real expensive!

Ya Glenn, this thing has the dirtiest engine compartment I've ever worked on. Besides this guy is terrible with maintenence, he is a dirt worker, so you could imagine what the inside of the truck and under the hood look like.
Aaron, the uppipes don't seem to be leaking. I don't see any soot or evidence of any kind. The clutch I'm not going to mess with now. I'm sure its original with 205k on it, so its probably just time for a new one. In fact, I'm not gonna mess with the window right now either.
I decided I better get it back together and make sure its running ok before I stick any more time, money, and effort into it. I'll place an order with Clay and after I get it back together, then maybe I'll mess with the window and other things if its running good.

Wow, sounds like you have your work cut out for you.
Correct me if I am wrong, but if the clutch is releasing down at the bottom of the pedal stroke, wouldn't that tend to indicate that the clutch is tight and not loose (needing to be replaced)? Maybe I misunderstood you. I always thought that if the clutch released soon after you started to let the pedal out that meant that there was quite a bit of life left on the clutch. Maybe I'm thinking wrong?

Could be a problem in the IDM or the connector from the IDM to the PCM.

Nate, I really don't know either, but I thought it meant it was worn. I'm no clutch man.
Thanks for that information Jim. I'll get it back together and see where I'm at with it. I'll try cleaning some connections, that could very well be the problem as dirty as everything else is.. I guess I could try my spare idm also.
Ordered some stuff through riffraff, sure is nice to be able to get all I need in one place. I got a bunch of things, boots, clamps, plenum inserts, orings, icp sensor and pigtail, filters, etc.. I like one stop shopping. I have oil and a filter, so I don't even need to make a stop at the parts store.
