Chrome quality question

I got a new set of chrome mirrors from Mid-fifty for Christmas, they've been on the truck only a couple months, however I'm starting to get several tiny black spots on the mirror head. The arm and base seem to be fine. I figured I would ask here first before talking to Mid-fifty on it.

I guess my question is, is that to be expected already? It seems pretty soon to me, and just the mirror heads. I'm wondering if I got a bad batch of mirror heads.

Call them right away, and maybe take pictures. They're a good bunch, they should help you out.
