With all the threads on whistling, I must say that I whistle when I go down the road, especially in this spring weather we have been having in PA. One will see me with the window down, my arm on the "Wider window frame" (this was actually a Ford advertising point for the 53-56 trucks as it was a good arm rest) whistling my favorite 70's tune. I must do this since I have no music playing capability in my truck. As a college kid I tried to find an 8-track player that was 6 volt, negative ground....

Do any of you whistle when you go down the road??

 

Whistle, sing, burp, fart, spit, cough.......and then I start the engine and put it into gear.

 

I don't whistle very well any more. I do like to ride with the winders down, listening to the music of turbo muffler, mufflers.

 

You all have inspired me, I need to run some errands but instead of taking the DD, I think I'll crank up the ol' flatty and head out!

 

I don't usually whistle, but then again, none of the trucks is in driving condition so I just settle for the Vroom-Vroom sounds while I sit in them and have a cold one.

 

I get whistled at alot.
