Can anyone help me identify this oil leak?
I now have a oil leak between the tranny and oil pan at least from what i can tell. How do i tell which seal is leaking and what do i look for? Can't say its the trucks fault as i bought a mini max which was suppose to be loaded with the easy tunes. However, they had loaded the Hot Damn files and i tried it twice (300 hp) before realizing what was wrong. The oil leak started thereafter. Now i have the programmer updated but obviously still a oil leak. i'm very frustrated with this as i drive my truck like granny most of the time but wanted to try the higher tune once to see how it felt compared to my older spartan system. Obviously when i hit it the first time it was unbelievable. Second time i was running 55 or so when i tried it for a very short time. I'm certain it was the first attempt that did the damage though.

Probably a rear main seal issue. Can be repaired fairly easy. Should be a warranty repair but you may want to put it to stock for that.
As far as the tuner causing the issue I highly doubt that it would have caused it in that location.
They will probably want to put some dye in the oil first to see if they can pin point the exactly location.

Could be rear main or bedplate IMHO. And if by "easy" you mean "remove the driveshafts, transfer case, and transmission" then you'd be exactly right.
I would agree with this if it were the rear main, but the bedplate is what supports the crank bearings. I think it's possible that a high power tune could provide enough downward pressure to cause sealing problems. I've never heard of such a failure cause before, but something to think about. Bedplate is a major repair that requires the removal of the engine to complete.
Good luck!

Go to the dealer and have them give you a bottle of oil dye and put it in your oil. You will find your leak. High hp tunes could cause a leak as they raise crankcase pressure. If you have your Ccv vented to atmosphere load up a big tune and watch how much more it will haze compared to stock.
