IP replacement questions .... sorry guys

Hey guys figure you all know more about this then I ever will so I wanted some advice/guidance. I find myself needing to replace my IP its got 198k on her and is leaking so its time, did the injectors last year so they should be good for a while. But I been reading and searching for almost a week now for places to get one. I have no need for anything crazy she will never get a Turbo and I only drive her like 6000 mi a year so I'm looking for a stock rebuild and trying to keep cost down money is a Lil tight right now. Best price I got locally to rebuild it was 650 on up depending on what it needs. So that leave me for the internet to order one. Best prices I found were with Pensacola diesel for 345 and DPS for 415. I have not read much either way for DPS pumps but have read the Pensacola can be a hit or miss. Just looking to get some advise of first hand experance for either. I really only wanna do this once. Any input would be greatly appreciated, sorry for rambling on guys, thanks.

I would shy away from the Penascola pump, I've never had any dealings with them but heard reports of 50% failure. I have not heard much on DPS. For the money I think I would give this guy a shot. FORD DIESEL 7.3L 7.3 Stanadyne Injection Injector Pump | eBay I've not had dealings with them either.

I have had good luck with these guys They have a good reputation locally with several Mechanics I know :
Our Services

They did mine about a year and a half ago. you will have to call them to find about Pricing. They are an authorized Stanadyne Re builder. (the People who made the pump originally). Who ever you decide to use good luck with your project

This is what I did....I went to my local Stanadyne dealer. He quoted me $550. I went home, printed off pages from several places, like Pensacola Diesel, several off E-bay, etc., all in the vicinity if $350-$400. I went back to the dealer and explained I would rather keep my money local and support him. He matched the price of the middle advertisement. I was happy to keep my money here local, and I know if I have a problem with the rebuild, I can face-to-face scream, er, negotiate with him versus messages through this interwebby thingamabob.

I have had real good luck with these guys.
TaylorDiesel.com | list of our locations St Peters store.
For me they are local. I think I payed $425 but they let me give them a second injection pump I had (that needed rebuilt) and gave core depsot on it also. They gave me a turbo pump but took the non turbo pump as core. They are great to talk to and know what they are doing.
