Unfortunately, I still won't be home for another three weeks to see both (just bought the trailer too), so I can't wait! After I get home, I'm taking the trailer to Pace (GA) to have some custom work done. After the trailer is completely done, maybe Aug., I'll post pics.

Congrats on the new truck !
if you check my sig, I've listed my personal trucks, but none of my work trucks -
I still think the 7.3 was the best engine ever built - noisy, but solid.
The 6.7 is hands and feet above the 6.4. I really liked my 6.4, but it ate me out of house and home on fuel. The 6.7 does everything better and eats less.

Thanks guys!!

The feedback I got from this thread really did help in the decision process. And the best thing is, I got a LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY!!

It is dealer provided and was free, let's just hope I NEVER need to try to use it.

This isn't from Ford, but aftermarket. I had originally thought I was going with an F-450, but it was not available on that truck. I didn't need the extra capacity of the 450, so went with the 350 which did come with the warranty which is the primary reason I went with this dealer along with price.

Very nice truck!! I would have the color you bought over silver any day of the week.

Very nice rig. After reading this thread, I'm gonna have to fight trading my 6.4 for a 6.7.

I do have to say, when I bought my 6.4, the 6.7's were still very new and I didn't even bother looking at one because I knew it was new technology and Ford doesn't have the best track record with first MY of a new generation truck. Plus the incentives were CRAZY on the 2010 6.4's to try and clear them out.

A few weeks after purchase, I received a survey about the truck and the few things I said I would change on the 6.4, we're already on the 6.7, ie, rear AC vents, AC'd seats, locking rear seat/compartment.

My biggest drawback is the change in the King Ranch leather. It's not the same saddle leather that made the KR edition. It seems like plastic to me compared to my 6.4.

The trailer has a 21,000 GVWR, but as far as empty, not sure. I did hear maybe 12K empty, but that would just be what I heard. I am going to try and get everything weighed when I get home.

BTW, thanks guys!

Those who have traded the 6.4 for the 6.7, what do you think? For others, opinions?

I have a 08 F450 6.4 and I say get the 6.7
