Looks like for is not honoring my ford warranty which mind you covers a fuel tank 6010 is the code they use for this replacement part. My tank is delaminating so rust and debris is in the filter. Dealer tells me bio I say really where is your proof did you test the fuel as I don't use bio-diesel. I talked to ford directly and they say its up to dealer is there someone here who has had the same problem. Then other reasons trying to blame me is neglect and non-proper maintenance which is crazy I do all recommended oil changes radiator flush and trans service this is my work truck. I get compliments all the time for how clean and nice my truck looks for 2006.
Well looking forward I'm looking for a replacement.
I wanted a poly tank but can't find a 35gallon it is a midship tank not the square one which is installed in the rear. I have the extended van and the spare is underneath the rear.

Will a plastic tank from a '03 F350 crew cab work? If so I believe I have one you could have but not sure about getting it to you.

 

my tank is 71 x 18 x11 plastic would work if those dimensions are met hopefully.
