New to me 2003
Just got the truck, my first diesel, and I'm already wanting to get rid of the chrome grill and anything else shiny.

OTH, blacking out light is just taking unwarranted risk. There are over 300 million folks in this nation and just because YOU don't have any problems does not mean other don't........
And since the kool factor" hey look at me I'm so freaking cool" is willing to take that approach then he/she should be willing to take the consequences that go with it........ and we move on ......
glad the driver and company got comp. and back in business .......... blacking out is as bad as those dumb-azzez that insist on 'blue lights' and are waaay too stupid to align their headlight after butchering OEM lighting........there now I feel better .... then.... ...

There is murdering out = retarded
or
There is tastefully ditching the chrome, or going in one direction. Rob's (nico963) truck is an example of this. He ditched his chrome and it's all black...but notice his tails are still clear?
Form over function folks. I hate seeing tinted tails. Idiots are just asking to get a grille up their hiney. Our eyes trigger off movement/changes. Most people will notice a car slowing down...but the lighting up of the tails gives you that extra notice. Sometimes all it takes is a split second to tell the difference between wreck or just a "close call"

To all of you "old timers" that don't know what a "murdered out" vehicle is, have you figured out how to use google yet? *sarcastic snickering* my gosh, if you have kids and aren't paying attention to today's slang terms, how do you understand what the hell they are saying??? Better get on it!

My boy was copying me when I was changing my oil
I speak English to my children
They speak English back. I don't allow Pidgen or "lol" or that other crap. They also address me as Sir and use their manners when an adult speaks or they need something
I don't adapt to my children. They accommodate me. Call it old school, but they'll live by my rules until 18. Then they can do as they please
That being said, I'm 29 going on 30 and I can't understand "pop" stations.
