Yeah mine is just an outline, no screws/bolts/anything. So not sure what I should try to do now. Any suggestions?

 

Tried a couple other things and I still can not get the bolts out! I am having a hard time with it. Took a break and pulled off the starter in a couple minutes, and I know I will definatally have to pull off my y-pipe for sure to get to the torque converter nuts. I'm really having a hard time with this and if anyone could help sort of walk me through it it would be great!

 

Sorry for my triple posts, but I was able to get the transfer case out! Just took a couple more tries at the one bolt and it was out. Also took out my exhaust so now I have way more room down there. Thanks again guys!

 

Glad to hear that you were able to get it out. Sorry that my tip wasn't useful.
The first time I removed the t-case I had to fight it with a 3' long extension, an impact universal joint and a breaker bar along with a few gear wrenches, when the gear wrench slipped I jammed my knuckles into the damn screws that held the tunnel cover on, that's when I had the idea about removing the cover.

 

Sure was a great feeling! Getting the trans out will be even better! Thanks for the help firewood! I'll keep you guys updated with what's going on in my other thread.
