I think he was referring to "ya that looks nice" and "do you plan to live in the engine compartment?" I know a guy who spend 4 grand on just chrome under the hood...
I was thinkin about building one of those DIY powder coating setups. But i dont remember how high its good for, so might not work anyway. a guy on B2.org made one and powdered all sorts of stuff with it and it all looked really good. Mine will proabably go black and red.
What kind of paint is good enough to last on an engine without rusting or chipping? I also don't mind braided steel lines to replace some fuel lines and stuff too. And like Mike said chrome does look good on steel lines. But that is about it as far as chrome goes.
