I have what I thought was a 351/400M bellhousing but another member said that it miight be a for a straight 6. I did a google search on the part number and found posts here on FTE that indicate both. Any help with clarification would be appreciated. Part number D9TA-7505-CB

Not sure on the part number, but visually, it looks like a small block bellhousing. (that fits, 300 six, 289, 302, 351W and 351C.)

Maybe somebody else can say better for sure.

According to Numberdummy in a post from 2008, this is a 351M400 bellhousing from an 80-82 truck. He said the 77-79 was marked D7TA-AD

You probably read the same post I did.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...llhousing.html

But I also found this from him. In post #4 he has the same number listed for a different application.

Yup, me too. Tomorrow I'll be going to the yard so I can put my hands on it and hopefully figure it out.
