Value on a '57

Buddy at body shop has acquired by default on work a very clean '57 Ford cab , doors , and hood . This cab ,doors and hood are in great condition with some minor pre paint work completed . What is a decent price to offer him for it ? Am very knowledgeable about '51 & '52 but know little about a '57 .I would like to stay under $1K .Thanks , Denny

I would say $400 - $500 for the cab, $100 each for the doors and I am not sure on the hood, maybe $100 for it as well. That is what I paid, except for the hood, my hood was very good.

I would base my price off on what the lean amount is on the truck! Usually stuff like this sellf for what the shop has in labor cost.

So, if it leans only 2", it is worth more than if it leans a whopping 4"?

Or, do you mean "lien"? LOL!
