How much oil should I use in this oil pan

I put a 460 in a 79 ford and had to buy a rear sump oil pan to clear the crossmember. I bought the pan from a guy and dont know what it came off of or how much oil to use. I only see 1 spot with number on the pan and that is in the pic below. Does anybody know how much oil should be used with this oil pan?

It is located on the drivers side and it sticks into the deeper part of the pan. I can get a picture later today

I've never seen one that is 7. My pan looks just like that and I assumed it was 6. Don't those pans come from a van and have super long dipsticks? The dipstick tube on my pan was broken off and I didn't have the dipstick itself.
I put 6 quarts in my engine and ran it to circulate everything and make sure the filter was totally full. Then tried the 351m dipstick and it didn't even touch the oil. So I just cut the tube off until the oil level was on the full mark. lol. Hey it worked. Now hopefully its not supposed to be a 7 quart pan! I'm pretty sure its not though.

6 is going to be safe but you can use another 1/2 for the filter.

I got this from all-data. I would say these are about the only sources for a rear sump pan.
