Compilation of YOUR work

Basically, im interested in what you guys have done to your IDI since you purchased it. Im sure many of you have done more than you would like to recall, and to compare to my list would be laughable, but just for *****s and giggles lets see it.

So I bought this truck on I think the 14th of January, 2012. And pretty much have been at it trying to care for it and give it what it needs since. So I begin.
Ill try to list in order of when i purchased said items.

Truck = $3,500.00
Two 4' Black CB Whips = $42.00
Running Boards = $20.00 (Lots of fabricating)
Starter Solenoid = $13.00 ($5.00 of which was S+H)
Neutral Safety Switch = $39.99 (Total Rip-Off imho but meh)
8 Reman Injectors = $119.00
8 Glow Plugs = $91.00
New Wipers = $29.99
New Passenger Side Speaker = $10.00
New Return Line Kit = $40.00 (Needs to be redone due to my failness)
New to me Head Unit = $20.00
New TPS = $39.99 (Have not installed yet)
New Intake System:
Dual Plenum = $60.00
Four 5" Humps = $15.00
Miscellaneous Hardware = $10.00
Big K&N Filter = $52.00
Smaller Spectre Filter = $18.00
New Pyrometer = $88.00
New Belts = $45.00 (I think it might have been more cant remember, this one was messy cause we got all the wrong belts the first time then we had to go two 3 different stores to get the right ones Ill track it down.
New Oil = $60.00 (It was on-sale, and by far one of the messiest jobs ive ever done, but it was about 4 quarts low....SMH at the PO and me not getting to it soon enough)
Pulse Sensor = $6.00
# 1 Injector Line = $48.00 (Rip Off)
# 1 Injector Line = $20.00 (Scrapped it cause i broked the other one)
#'s 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 Injector Lines $25.00 (HEHE Got Lucky and found a spare set for CHEAP!)

And thats just things that could actually go on the truck - Total 4,411.97

Here are some tools I have purchased for this thing in order to work on it.

New 168 Piece Craftsman Socket set = 139.00 (I used mostly metric stuff for my Mitsubishi Eclipse and I personally didn't do a lot of that wrenching. But a good standard set is a must for this.)
Tap and Drillbit for Pyro = $15.00
4 and 1/4" Belt Wrench for the Oil Filter = $8.99
Bunch of 1/4" 3/8" and 1/2" Extensions = 24.00
Fold out Step up Ladder = $20.00 (By far one of the better investments ive made )
Wire Crimper = $17.00
Box Cutter = $10.00 (Clearly didnt use it to cut boxes )
Lubes,Anti-Seize,Coolant, Other Misc things = $50.00 (Just for good measure im sure im leaving out things)
Total = $283.99

Add those two totals together you get $4695.96.

Out of these things, do you guys notice anything major Im missing? Its a 91 F350 4wd 7.3 L CC with an E40D with about 152,xxx on it.'

By the way - Just wanted to let everyone know, i turned the fuel pump up about 1/2 a turn (Whoops) She was sure rolling coal..but she was drowning nonetheless so i turned it back down a quarter of a turn, and damn if she isnt pulling like a champ couldnt be more happy and i dont think she could be either.

Just bought mine last month. I don't have prices for it all, but so far:

- New glow plugs
- New door lock cylinders
- Fuel line return kit
- New belts
- New hoses
- Coolant flush (to baseline coolant for SCAs)
- Brake flush
- New fuel filter (NAPA unit with water separator built in)
- New transmission fluid
- New wipers
- New head unit
- New speakers
- New wiper ****
- New tires
- New thermocouple for Banks EGT gauge installed
- New air filter for Banks setup (million miles my ***!!!)
- New CDR calve
- Shell removed
- Running boards removed
- Washed (better not get used to it. It won't happen often)
- All zerk fittings greased
- Changed diff fluid (complete with 08+ diff cover)

Left on the 'to do' list"
- Oil change
- Change shocks (KYB Monomax)
- Line-X
- Tint
- Take care of a few minor rust spots
- New floor mats
- Dashmat (a must in sunny SoCal)
- Boost gauge (Banks 0-15 PSI unit)
- Crank up the IP (maybe)

Jobs I hope can hold off a bit more:
- Clutch!

I'd rather not think of the total on everything right now. I've been having too much fun having a pick-up again and working on it. It's immensely satisfying. Oh, and a big thanks to all those whom have helped me on here! Couldn't do half of it without the knowledge freely shared on this forum.

Well way to much to list really but I bought my hobby/toy when I turned 15 and been working on it for a decade. The big recent stuff is in the sig last time I figured it up I have around 1600 in it. That's wheels tires stereo engine/trans swap and turbo included with the differnt trucks it took to build the beast.

Probably not a bad idea to change all fluids on the truck, especially the coolant so you can baseline SCAs.

The Paint Job looks.....****ing sweet man. Congratz on that, and nice job overall on the truck. Really looks like that thing is extremely well taken care of, maybe a little spoiled jk. Keep up the good work Ford.

Wow my dad is the original owner of the 1990 F250, and his list is much smaller than some of you guys list that only had the truck a few years

Other than regular maintenance parts, and a CB and antennas, nothing has been done to it.
