WOW I didn't think anyone around still remembered them and the Michigan Funrunners. they put on some good mud bogs and road rallies around here in the early 80's. Not sure if they are still around or not. They put on a mud bog near Niles off the bypass and 12 that brougt trucks in from Ill.

Yea I remember that cuz I was stupid enough to be in waders in that pit measuring the distances.Coolest vehicle there to me was a CJ with 3/4 ton Ford axles under it.
My dad was one of the founding members of the club and I went all the time with him to club events.I don't see many of the guys from the club anymore and thats why I asked.

Yes I ran around there they had a mud bog there too Big Foot was suppose to come but they wouldn't let him run 8 tires so he backed out. There was some property south of there called the Pig Farm. We tore that up for years, it was all sand too.
Red Bud had a road rally that ended up in Buchcanan with a big mud hole didn't win the rally but almost ran out of gas play in that mud hole with some guy in a blazer. I did win that he finally got stuck and I had to pull him out.
