83-86 RCLB empty weight

How much does one weigh? 2wd RCLB f250 with 6.9? Anyone know?

2wd are around 5400lbs I believe, and 4x4's are just under 6k.

RCLB IIRC: 5240, hauled one to junkyard the other day(I took the most important parts I wanted out before getting there(engine, transmission, wiring harness, ect...ect...

hard to believe im a whole ton over a stock truck.i just don't get it.that dang bed an ram is really this heavy?
my stake sides are not light either.all adds up i guess.

speaking of the old 83-86 fords, anyone got a good pic of engine bay with the air filter off? looking to see how much room is back there before the firewall? pics anyone!?

My truck gained 1,000lbs since the last time i weighed it.....

Little things do add up...

Before was 5700#, now its 6700#.

yes.

but I can just make you a mono-beam from scratch, that way you can match the bolt pattern of the 9" in the rear.
