Has anyone replaced ball joints using Dana parts? The original joints had dust seals on the upper and lower. The replacements don't have them but the lowers will still fit.
Leave them off?
Jason

Are you talking about those stamped sheet metal collars that fit around the bottom of the rubber boot? If so, I'd use it if it fits.
No. The actual dust boots. My original BJ's were really worn out, so I had nothing to compare with. The new joints both had seals on them, but no boots. I was able to install the lowers and fit the boots. But no go on the uppers. I installed them without, figuring that the seals should keep the majority of dirt out.
Thanks,
Jason
