We have a new Explorer Limited with the MyFordTouch. I have read the manuals, but still cannot figure out how to set the presets for the Sirius Radio. Can anyone help???? We really like the Explorer with all the " bells and whistles " but cannot figure out the presets! Thanks in advance!!!
Get the my touch into the radio portion. Hit the ast, its down in the left bottom corner. their will be FM 1 & FM2, and then ast. Now on the numerical touch pad in the center, tune into the staion you want to set to. such as 101.1, as an example. On the right side of the screen you will see the buttons to set the stations to. These will be tour pre-set stations. the go down the screen.
Now that you have the radio tuned to the station. touch and hold the pre-set button you want that station on. the sound will go out temporaroly and come back on the station you are setting it to. If I recall between FM1 & FM2 you can preset 10 stations.
We just bought a used 2011 and had the same plublem, understanding the directions. So your not alone.
Motown, thank you very much for your response. It is confusing to say the least, but your directions walked me right through it! I really do like the vehicle, and all the options are terrific. The Sony radio system makes you feel like you are in a concert hall! Again, my friend, thank you for your help............I really appreciate it!
