I just recently had purchased a new Roush Supercharger w/ intercooler package from Stage3motorsports. I pick it up tomorrow, I had an ASE certified ford mechanic install it. Im excited so I wanted to throw up a post about it. Also installed in the ashtray area were 3 gauges- Boost, Wideband, and trans temp. I also had a set of 4.10 Ford Racing gears installed, I had a 3.55 gear ratio . Looking forward to taking a drive in it. Ill post up some pics of install and I'll make up some cool videos this week. I know i'll have questions soon but I think with the 4.10 gears it'll perform pretty good.
I picked the truck up tonight and it runs awesome. It's smooth with a lot of power. Its been raining in st Louis so I didn't get to really get on it. I'll post a picture of the custom gauge setup in the ashtray tomorrow, I'm sure I'll have some tuning eventually with Troyer but I have Steigmeir here locally with a dyno they can fine tune with. I know no ones commented yet but I'm glad I'm a member of this site you guys are awesome! -Tony
Im running 7lbs( stock ) right now. Im gonna run it for awhile and see how it feels then look into tuning it. Its been fun so far, the 4.10's are a big difference over the 3.55's, and only 2100 rpm not bad.
i can imagine. i think you can safely go up to 400-450 rwhp on a stock block. i would talk with a tuner on one of the lightning boards for a safe tune and go with a bigger lower pulley and a maf.

Yeah I think a new lower pulley is a great idea considering the stock one from Roush weighs so much, plus it will add another 1 psi of boost. Im going to contact Mike Troyer this week and order some tunes and an XCal 3 from him unlocked, so I can synonymous tune it locally. I've driven the truck for a week so far and I can see where the Roush tune has its limits, plus the shifting isn't perfect with my big wheels and 4.10's. Thanks for the advice. Troyer I think will get the truck running awesome and get the boost going at 20%the throttle rather than 80%.
Here is a picture of my custom (home fabricated) gauge pod in the ashtray spot. Trans temp, AEM wideband gauge, and boost. Looks great and keeps it kinda of hidden to be a sleeper . Picture quality isnt great because i used my cell phone. I talked to Troyer yesterday and I'm going to order some custom tunes on an XCal 3, plus he's going to leave it unlocked so I can have it dynoed locally to fine tune anything at Steigmeier in St. Charles.
Thank you! I do plan on taking it to the track. Gateway race track in Illinois is just over the bridge from where I am in St. Louis. They have test and tune nights on Wednesdays, I plan on going over as soon as I have a free night.
Im taking the truck to the track this Wednesday to see what it runs on the roush tune. Im having it dynoed on the 26throush this month and tuned locally in st louis at Steigmeier. Ill have pics up soon I dropped the rear end 2" to match the front so it sits level.
I raced my buddies 2011 ecoboost 4 door 4x4 this week and beat him by about a headlight to 80 mph. My truck did good but I thought it would be better. I think after my tuning ill be good to go on beating him really good. Ill keep you guys posted on the 1/4 mile times and dyno numbers.
Sorry about that, I didn't post because I wasn't able to go. I ended up having to work but im gonna try again this Wednesday coming up. My wife is 8 months pregnant so I've been pulling extra hours when they are available( plus ill have extra money so the truck can be dyno tuned . I promise to have an update soon. I appreciate u checking in.
I don't have slicks yet but I've been checking craigslist for a cheap set of rims to put some on. Im not sure about the long bars yet, I was gonna save up for some to keep the rear end solid on the ground. Do u have any suggestions on brand? Im gonna google them here in a min to check them out.
