I just wanted to bump this thread back up because I just got a set of Jackmans 8 lug 16.5x9.75 First set I ever seen in person and dang are they heavy duty suckers! I think they was made in June of 1978 because they are stamped 6 78 right after the size on the inside of the wheel. I'm thinking about putting these on my highboy but wanted to see some more pictures, preferable on a red 4x4. I'm debating on if I should have them powdercoated or not. Was these gloss white or semi gloss when new? Kind of hard to tell with all the age and scratches on them.

Yeah mine have the "J" on them. I thought they was more of a semi gloss as well but its hard to tell. Straight gloss might be too shiny and look kind of cheesy and stand out. I 'm still up in the air on weather I want them powdercoated or just paint them at work sense I am a painter at a body shop. Either way I think there a cool period correct wheel for my truck. Adds to the old school bad *** ness.

Mine seemed like they were semi gloss white, but maybe it is because they were old. I don't think a straight gloss would look right. They are really heavy, but they look good!

Love the turbine wheels. But then again I own a General Lee!

Whatever I find faster slots or turbines will go on my f250.

But I'm tempted to go modern as well.......

Ok no not me, maybe 16.5 polished slotted mags or the fins, but nothing new. Maybe the 16.5 Jackmans?

Consider this color option, (yea 5 on 5 1/2) and if I went new like the other 2 pics it would be to get 16's and have a wider tire selection.

Or I have a set of these, imagine them polished up.

Will 16s clear the brakes on the 3/4 tons?

I like the second set of new ones you posted.

Nice truck BG350

Jeff you just have to get the correct "off set" or "back spacing".

I hear 15's will fit a on a F250 with double piston front calipers, with a little caliper grinding.

jhyoo, welcome to FTE, but this is NOT the place (forum area) to sale your rims. This is where you get advice on how to fix a truck problem.

See # 6 https://www.ford-trucks.com/site-guidelines/
Personal Items For Sale. For Sale items are not allowed in the automotive and general discussion forums of FTE.

Now no worries, because here is the place to sale them. 73-79 for sale/trade or wanted section.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...de-wanted.html

You can also go to the FTE marketplace/classifieds section. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum295/

And or go to your state chapter and post it there. I would post the link to your state, but you left it out on your user profile. Here is the regional chapter lists. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum13/

FYI It can cost about 40 EACH to mail ONE aluminum truck rim that size. Also when you post them for sale in the other areas, you might mention the brand if it is on the back. Like US Mag (?) and or the lug pattern (8 on 6 1/2) and then the rim width and rim size. 10x16.5 (?).

Sometime that info is on the back side of the rim, posting a pic of that helps the buyer.

My FIL's '77 F-250 4x4 had 15" wheels. They were 8 spoke, white "wagon style" steel so might have been thinner material than alloys? They were pretty deep, they might have even been 10" wide? It had longer calipers on it than the single caliper ones. He had 32/11.50-15 Dunlop tires on it, fit well on the wheels.
