New guy

Just bought a 1960 f100, drove it home (325 miles). First thing I did was order all the front suspension parts, drop beam, king pins, tie rods,& reverse eye leafs. Was white knuckles the whole way. I have been driving it to work then noticed the rf Main leaf is broken (scary) so now it's parked till parts come in. Will update soon with pics.

Welcome to the world of the fridge truck. Wow! 325 miles sounds like an epic maiden voyage. A little info on the truck please, and take care not to get obsessed with this thing. I've heard some people have.......

Inline 6, 2 speed auto, big back glass, short bed, flat white paint, chrome smoothies. Don't worry I am obsessed already. Dad had a 59 when I was short, I had a 58 that I regretfully sold 10 years ago, been wanting another ever since.

Welcome to FTE! Sounds like a great truck, especially the flat white paint. Looking forward to pics.

Thanks. I actually sold my 66 mustang coupe to start this project. I got enough $ to get the truck and some necessary parts to start. That was one of the main requirements 57-60 f100 short bed styleside big window. Drive train didn't matter as long as it is driveable now and FORD. I am a Ford senior master , hence the username.

Hey, I'm only a few birthdays away from the 'senior coffee' at McDonalds. I'm sure I could already pass with a fake ID...... So, what IS a senior master? I'm thinking Ibuzzard was right.

I'm always right, except when I'm not.Which is only whenever I speak, according to my wife.

I've never been right in the head.

Why would you want to be! If you thought you were you would have to be in "senior managment", or something dredfull like that.
