Exhaust Manifold/headers

Exhaust Manifold/headers
I have to replace the pass. side exhaust manifold and thus why not run dual exhaust. Anyone know of a header that fits 1949 F6?? Are they (F6) the same as all F's of the year/era. Seems to me the steering is to be avoided on the drivers side. Please check out this like and see what you think.
SUMMIT REPLIED ---The only header I list as likely to be correct for your F6 is the SNH-FH1 header. These are listed as fitting all Ford applications between 46 - 53 models. Attached is a link to these headers:

But if these look like they will not fit, then we do not have a set that will work. Thanks, Mike
Soooo....it's hard to say without having them in hand after $300 is spent.

I would assume an F6 has more clearance than an F1. Chekc these threads:

I would expect that all the Ford trucks of the era had the same width frame but if you have an F6 it shouldn't be too difficult to measure it. Ask the supplier if you can return the headers if they don't fit.
Sanderson knows exactly what their headers fit, their people don't need to depend on a catalog listing, so Id call them and ask. Some other headers may be cheaper but it's usually because they are thin lightweight racing application construction.
