It's definitely the addicts, you can see the big XD on the center cap in the second picture. I actually almost got those wheels but decided to go with the monsters.
my brother said that and i went on the website and couldn't find them! WTF did i do wrong..... Anyway it looks like Green Bean is getting new sneakers!
xmontex4 you have any problems with vibrations? Keep reading about how non hub centric wheels vibrate like crazy on our trucks and i dont feel like going through that crap
Nope they actually ride smoother than my stock rims and tires did (do to the tires though) you can always get hub centric rings from somewhere. I'm going to get them anyway and some flares in the spring, no sense in getting them a few weeks before i go back to stock for the winter. the center bore on mine is 125.5 so i just gotta find the stock hub bore and order some rings.
so the lug nuts now center the wheel right? So they use a acorn lug so if you tighten the lugs correctly the acorn will center the wheel on the lugs and you shouldnt have any problems?? This is how the wheels i put on my 1997 F250 were and i never had a problem with them.....
correct, as long as you do the star pattern it centers the wheel. I just found the hub size for the 99+ trucks its 125.2 so my rims are .3mm off which makes sense because they are almost touching the rim, I doubt that they make rings that small though.
what i don't understand is how come NO aftermarket wheel for the SD is hub centric? They machine the wheel .3mm bigger just adjust the dam CAD software to make the opening .3mm bigger and BAM you now offer hub centric.......
Production costs would be higher because you now have to have another whole line that produces the same rim that is only .3mm smaller than the generic one. I'm going to measure my hub bores in a little while i keep reading that the 99+ is 125.2 and then only the 05+ is 125.2 so I grab a set of calipers and go check while I'm still at work and have them available .
