The DC-2s and the XD Crank are 2 of the wheels I'm looking at.

I'm having a real hard time finding anything I really love though. I hate the simulated beadlock stuff that 99% of the aftermarket wheels out there have (no offonse to those who like it) so it makes it real hard to find a wheel I like.

I'm also trying to decide if I want to go full black, or black with machined accents.

Hey Bobby, I have to check out your truck sometime. I think im going to go with ProComp just as long as the fit right with the offest and backspacing.

I like those too, sorry I can't help with the backspacing that's one of the main things I'm still trying to figure out. I wish more people in here would have posted about their offset/backspacing.

Well good news. I called Pro Comp today and they were very nice. They confirmed that the Pro Comp 5001 series will fit my 2005 Super Duty no problem. I was looking at the XD site, Im not to happy they dont offer any contact info not even an e-mail.

Great, did they say about how far they would stick out?

I think I've pretty much ruled out the DC-2s now, I've read a few reviews saying they don't hold up well to road salt etc, which you know they tend to use like crazy in IL. BTW, where abouts in Northern IL are you? I'm from Rock Falls, but have lived in the Peoria area for about 15 years now.

Im not expecting much out of my procomps, my friend has run his straight through mass/ct winters for 4 years and has to polish them alot and they are just starting to pit, but im just using my stock wheels/tires for winter anyways. dont want to ruin the rims

I'm hoping the black satin powedercoat helps them stay looking good through the winters, and doesn't take a bunch of polishing all the time.
