hey all i have a 2001 sport trac 4.0 4x4 and i unbolted the starter now how the hell do i get it out of the truck? any help would be appreciated thanks

 

From the Factory Service Manual:

All vehicles

- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section 414-01 .
- Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information refer to Section 100-02 .

4x4 vehicles

- If equipped, remove the bolts and position aside the front axle dampener.

All vehicles

- Remove the starter motor solenoid terminal cover.
- Disconnect the starter wires.
- Remove the nut and the starter ground cable.
- Remove the bolt, the stud bolt and the starter motor.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
