You know, I have quoted 27.5 qts for years. I looked in the Source Manual last week and darned if it doesnt say 28.5 qts ...................

possibly one of the most educated on the 6.0 and still learn something new everyday! lol

What some causes of radiator failure ?
I would hate to replace it and have the new radiator
Fail also.

Yup, mines fixed. Thanks for the offer

It was $272 for the radiator and $55 for the coolant and distilled water.

I dont know what the causes of a cracked radiator are, but im sure glad mine failed. It looked like someone dipped my radiator and intercooler in a clay mud bath.

It cracked at the top seems.

I dont know what the causes of a cracked radiator are, but im sure glad mine failed. It looked like someone dipped my radiator and intercooler in a clay mud bath.

It cracked at the top seems.
Got one sitting at the house with the same issue I think. Leaking at the top tank but haven't taken it to the radiator shop to see wtf the issue actually is.....

This one came out of a May 04 production truck with 75K miles that had been cleaned with simple green. The crimped aluminum fingers on the top tank are all "fractured" in the front but it appears to be leaking on the back seam from the report I got. I guess the rad. shop will let me know if it's repairable.

Thats exactly what mine did! Those seems were fractured
