So what did you do to your 6.0L today?

It works great, just like in the videos online. It only takes about 8 1/2 minutes to install and that's including opening & pouring a complimentary beer I awarded myself that is customary in these situations.........

She's not too happy with me getting so many parts for the truck lately, since the first of the year.
I am still trying to talk to her about a solar setup that Scott (DieselDan) and I were talking about in another thread.
Got the rear bumper back on the truck. With it off you can really
see where the dumb bunny hit me and bent the passenger side.
In the process I removed the Plasti Dip and the factory plastic caps.
Looks like I will need to get a new set of caps. I found out that the
plate light lamp holders don't like to snap back out once they have
been in place for years. Got a new one of them and fresh lamps for
both sides.

Not today, but last night installed the leveling kit and replaced the front shocks. Stock shocks would have been at full extension at ride height. So with a little ingenuity I installed a set of front shocks meant for a mid 80's F350 diesel. The tires are being installed and the truck aligned now
Is it just installing the mechanical fan kit they offer? I wonder how this would work with the Mishimoto tstat. My truck tows more often than just cruising around, this might be another addition when I pull the engine and reseal this year.
Finally got the two inch leveling kit installed on the front of the truck last night. That was more of a project than I thought but well worth it, looks a lot better now and the front tires don't brush the mud flaps on full stop. I think the worst part was the passenger side getting things lined up again trying to get the leaf spring bolt head to go back into the recess on the pad. Ended up using a ratchet strap hooked around the front axle and rear leaf spring, a quick prayer and some hammering to FINALLY get the darn thing to drop in.
I've been fighting this vibration between 40-50 mph for about a year now. It first showed up when I put a new set of Michelin's on it. So I put new Rancho shocks and no improvement. Took to ford dealer and they said the carrier bearing and u-joints were bad. They replaced and did a road force balance. The vibration lessened but didn't go away completely. They blamed the new tires. So I went back to Discount Tire, they gave me new set free of charge. No improvement in vibration. Took back to dealer. They blamed the tires again. They even put it in writing. So, back to Discount Tire for another set. Again, no questions asked. Still vibrating at 40-50 mph. Took back to dealer. They said there was nothing more they could do. So I took it to another ford dealer. They said it was the drive shaft out of balance. First ford dealer said drive shaft was fine. So we got the drive shaft balanced yesterday and that solved the problem. Man, she rides like a dream now. I'm a happy camper again.
