Ordered that joining clamp for the turbo, now I have to wait for 4-6 days for it. Oh well... Thanks to whoever once wrote about White Bear being low on prices. Used them.

Everybody else wanted full retail around here, and nobody had it in stock right away. Waiting, for me, is worth the savings. Plus not giving into others greed.

Yep--i kinda get heartburn that my local dealer doesn't give me a break.
They'd get more business from me if they would.

I've noticed on many "price checks" that FICMREPAIR.com have the same prices as WhiteBear. One thing with White bear is the free 2nd day fedex.

Prices at local shops are up because of Internet shopping.... we've done it to ourselves over the years.

My local Ford dealership marks everything up 300%. I drive 20 miles to another Ford dealer that sells slightly above Internet price.

Agreed. For example: I need 36 qts LV atf. Yes he has it cheaper but add the $64 shipping and I'm paying the same if I went to the local Ford dealer 10 minutes away. Free shipping would make it worth the wait.

That was my 1st thought as well...

Whether its right or not, I've always cranked it down until the spring compresses.

Anyone know if there is a proper procedure for CAC Clamps

Lol i hear ya. I'm starting my new job Monday and should have some extra money in the next couple of weeks so it's going to the hg job. Good part I'm suppling the parts (just don't trust anyone as they may not use what I would want--goes for any shop in my mind except SDS) bad part is i won't have the time to do it myself but at least it'll be done and i can pretend to the wife that I'm not obsessing anymore

My guy wont use anything but ford parts on my truck, but he's computer illiterate.and said I could get the parts on the old interweb cheaper than what he can get at our local dealership.
