thats the other flip side i kept reading... originals put on at factory would last forever... but it was the replacements that just didnt seem to last.. most the reports i kept finding people said they were going after 20K miles.. few of them saw 50K but no more...

Sad thing is, I think I trashed the factory ones not long ago or I'd put them back. They didn't clunk but "seemed" loose. Grrrrrr

Celebrated Boxing Day by going for a drive - took the wife to hospital - nothing too dramatic, she's out again after a small op, followed by picking up and some hay and straw. Impressive what you can haul when you use the roof as well.

Once the wife was back the beast (F250) got a good clean. Second time this year, turns out its black underneath the mud.

Then got the front brakes finished. the brakes have been a never-ending story, starting in August, completed 2 days ago, new disks, calipers, pads all round. Now able to brake without 2 hands on the wheel

Just ordered oil cooler kit, 2 intake manifold gaskets, HPOP seal kit, injector harness, turbo reinstall kit and FICM relay

Now to sit here and try not to press place order for a $950 HPOP...

Im going to start reading write-ups on HPOP and oil cooler replacement. Any tips/tricks/special tools for this job? It seems like its fairly straight forward...just want to get it right the first time

Installed the Mishimoto 200 degree thermostat and housing. Very impressed with it so far. Responds fast and temps are running ect 197-201 with EOC running 203-205 at 65mph for first run. 25 degrees today. Easy install for a rookie.

Well I just went for a drive and picked up some parts for my "New to me" Plasma Cutter
and a new holster

But on the 6.0 side of things I did some rooting around and finally decides to sell some things I don't need.
I posted them over in the classified.
The things that might be of interest here are the Snap On Solus,Torqueshift core trans and a set of 5" rear blocks.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post15906439

The Snap On is also on Ebay. >>> SNAP ON SOLUS EESC310 SCANNER Domestic, Asian, and European

Just some of the things I said I would post here when I was ready to sell them. I should have a clone VCMII coming up soon.

Happy New Year 2016 is almost here
